Independent Production

PBS Western Reserve’s long-running series AROUND AKRON WITH BLUE GREEN spotlights local businesses, people and places that make Greater Akron special.

“I'm a storyteller, not a journalist, and I use video to share the stories of others on Around Akron with Blue Green. I focus on uncovering untold stories that highlight local history, new hotspots, historic locations, and most importantly, the people whose stories define Akron and Northeastern Ohio. For me, capturing these stories is more than a task; it’s a passion that gives me purpose and a meaningful connection to the community. Producing a 30-minute show solo is challenging, but it’s incredibly rewarding to shed light on stories that might otherwise remain hidden.”
