To our PBS Western Reserve friends:

As we look toward the holiday season and the end of 2025, I reflect on the past year with gratitude and pride in our community. The year has been challenging for public media, with the loss of federal funding and a reduction in state funding, but our community in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania has shown tremendous support for PBS Western Reserve.

We have more than 50 new volunteers that are helping with community engagement, kids events, mailings, thank you calls and more. We’re fortunate to have many community partners that work with us on content, community events, educational programming and underwriting support. Our viewers are connecting with PBS Western Reserve in record numbers — with growth of audience on broadcast, digital and streaming. And, the community is meeting the challenge of helping us fill the budget gap created by funding loss. We are more than 60% to our overall fundraising goal for the fiscal year, which ends on June 30, a strong position for the organization at this point in the year.

THANK YOU for your belief in our work and for the ways that you help PBS Western Reserve remain strong in these challenging times. I am grateful to be leading this important organization that serves our community with free, accessible programming and educational services. Have a happy, restful holiday season.

With thanks,

Natalie Pillsbury
President  & CEO
