Together for Today and Tomorrow: Support PBS Western Reserve

With previously approved federal funding now cut and reductions in state funding, PBS Western Reserve faces a significant gap in its budget. We’re seeking community support to ensure that our trusted service continue to inform, educate and inspire for today and generations to come.

We invite you to participate in one of our efforts below.

Preserve PBS Western Reserve

Your gift to our daily operations keeps critical services operating at PBS Western Reserve. Those services include items such as:

  • The production and broadcast of award-winning local programs like The World According to Polka, By Nature’s Design and Local Focus
  • National programming such as Masterpiece, Nature, NOVA and PBS Kids programming like Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Wild Kratts, Lyla in the Loop
  • Educational events and workshops for children, families, caregivers and teachers
  • Community events across the region

PBS Western Reserve seeks an additional $600,000 for daily operations.

The community needs to increase their support by 35% to achieve this goal. Current donors doubling or tripling their gift will play a pivotal role in achieving this goal.

As part of this effort, we’re seeking 1,500 new members giving 50 dollars per month to achieve our ambitious goal to continue daily operations.

You can give directly online or call 1-800-554-4549.

Fund for the Future

A contribution to this campaign will go directly to PBS Western Reserve’s Fund for the Future. This fund provides:

  • Long-term financial stability in a changing funding landscape
  • A dependable source of revenue
  • Enduring support for locally produced content and educational initiatives

PBS Western Reserve seeks $1 million for this fund before the end of its fiscal year which concludes June 30, 2026.

You can give directly online or call 1-800-554-4549.

PBS Western Reserve is more than a station. We are a lifeline for trusted news, a home for lifelong learning, and a platform for regional voices. Your support ensures that everyone in our community—regardless of income or background—has access to quality, non-commercial programming.

Let’s protect what we cherish and build what we imagine.
