Wallis Simpson and Edward, Duke of Windsor, continue to fascinate years after causing a constitutional crisis in England, which resulted in a shocking abdication of the throne. The scandal didn’t stop at divorce, and this new special uncovers secret affairs, blackmail, money laundering and murder during the couple’s five-year exile in the Bahamas.

During World War II, with loud whispers of pro-Nazi sympathy around the scandalized couple, Winston Churchill hoped to avoid further distraction by sending Edward to the Bahamas to serve as Governor.  Now, newly uncovered secret files and FBI records reveal the opposite. From lavish spending to fraternizing (and a likely affair) with known Nazi sympathizers to risky interventions in global politics, Edward and Wallis’ time in the Bahamas proved to be the most outrageous years of all for this already notorious royal couple.
