Each city’s episode reveals the stories of six trailblazers who define the essence of their community and possess unique roles including business leader, revitalizer, artist, humanitarian, historian, educator and visionary.
The cities featured this season are Cuyahoga Falls, Wooster, Chagrin Falls, Medina and Warren in Ohio, and New Castle in Pennsylvania.

The Chardon Polka Band returns with another season of its Emmy-winning program, delving deeper into the polka genre as showcased through the band’s music and droll wit. Season 2 sees the polka-teers take their music to beaches, backyards, bakeries and more. PBS Western Reserve presents the inspiring rescue story of an enslaved Black man named John Price and the 37 abolitionists from Oberlin, Ohio, whose bravery changed the trajectory of the abolitionist movement in the years leading up to the Civil War. The production is the work of filmmakers Christina Paolucci and Scott Spears of Production Partners Media in Columbus, Ohio.

However, the depressed area’s young people are now returning home with a vision for a new tomorrow. Several alumni, with talents ranging from jazz singing to marketing and architecture, bring an innovative spirit to the challenge of revitalizing their hometown.
